If you are looking for a place with so much history and amazing evidences of how the ancient world looks like, you need to travel to Egypt. Historians called it, "the cradle of civilization" and indeed, the ancient Egyptians have marked their own culture by creating great monuments such as the Great Pyramids that future generations can still look upon with awe even after being constructed many, many years ago. They are the last remaining man made wonders of the world. Egypt flights are in abundance as many people around the world are fascinated with its culture. They offer several tourist scenic spots that every traveler needs to experience.

The popularity of Egypt being a top destination of most tourists around the world is probably due mainly on the mystical aura that still lingers there. No other place on earth can rival the mystery that surrounds the Pyramids of Giza. We can all theorize on how they are built but no one can specifically point out how they were made. Who would not be at awe with these perfectly shaped pyramids? It is truly fascinating to see and wonder how they were made especially that during those times there were no advanced tools to use.

Up to this day, there are more discoveries being made on these pyramids, as archeologist try to uncover the past. These are quite important discoveries as they hold the secrets of the ancient world. When archeologists found the tombs of the pyramid builders, they discover that the Egyptians were the ones who built them and not the slaves. The view of these pyramids is just breathtaking that watching it during sunrise or sunset is a magical experience. What makes this area in Egypt even more interesting is that in front of these pyramids, we can see another great work of art. The Sphinx has been a subject of much debate among archeologists, as they still do not know the real purpose of its existence and its origin. When you travel to Egypt, these magnificent structures should be your first sightseeing priority.

Abu Simbel is another great scenic spot that should not be missed. Do not waste your time looking for affordable Egypt flights without any plans of seeing these two stunning temples. You will find four statues in front guarding them that were carved directly from the rock there. It was said that Pharaoh Ramesses II built them for himself and his wife Nefertari. After taking pictures with these works of ancient art, make sure you head off to the Valley of Kings. It is the most-talked about tombs of Egypt's popular pharaohs. Past excavations revealed mummies of significant rulers of the ancient Egypt like that of King Tutankhamen. He is probably the most famous mummy where many myths and stories have spun about such as the "Curse of King Tut's Tomb."

A mystical travel to Egypt getaway would not be as satisfying if you will not cruise down the Nile River. There you can see the different enchanting sights of the city aboard a boat. Before you leave this magical place, walk around Cairo would give you the chance to shop from the bazaars and get some memorabilia of the Egyptian culture.
